Successful Internet Marketers
Successful Internet Marketers - Who are you following?
Successful Internet Marketers – How do you know you’re following people that can influence your business?
Over the years, I have learnt who to, and who not to follow when it comes to offering advice in the world of Internet Marketing.
I am ashamed to say, that as a newbie, I was seen coming. And trust me, it really isn’t a nice feeling. In fact, after that experience, I was very skeptical about the whole ‘make money online‘ thing.
But, as these guys will show you, it is possible. You just have to keep at it, never stop believing and follow the people that will influence you and your business.
The following list has been but together in no particular order. All of these Marketers are both experienced and respected in their own right.
Darren just happens to be at the top because it is believed that he was the first person to make a successful career from blogging.
If you have any other suggestions or have had some first-hand experience following a particular Marketer yourself, then please leave your suggestion(s) in the comments box at the bottom of this post.
1) Darren Rowse
Whilst trying to provide for his young family with three jobs on the go, he never stopped believing in himself. And, like some of us, I do believe he needed a swift kick up the backside to get himself going. But, once he did, there was no stopping him, Today, Darren is one of the most successful bloggers you’ll find online today.

Follow Darren Rowse
As to be expected, Darren Rowse can be found across most Social Media Sites and personally, I follow him on Facebook and Twitter.
) Kim Roach
Kim Roach is known to some of her online followers as ‘The Queen of Trafic‘. Not relying on SEO (although she does use it), Kim has spent most of her marketing career discovering, testing and re-testing, ways of getting traffic, directly to members websites.
Her email list is also full with useful information and so are her websites. On the odd occasion, she will host a webinar or run a challenge. If you ever get invited to one of these events, trust me, you won’t want to miss it, especially if you’re lacking traffic to your website.
Kim has two sides to her main websites. One is her blog whilst the other is her membership site (The Marketing Lab). I have followed Kim for a number of years now and I’ve even been a member of The Marketing Lab so I can personally recommend it. If you’re lacking traffic, then you’re going to want to check her site out.
Follow Kim Roach
Once again, Kim Roach can be found across most Social Media Sites. I follow Kim on Facebook and Twitter and get regular updates when events are happening.

3) Jon Loomer
Jon Loomer was laid off during the recession and like all successful people, he turned a personal mishap into an opportunity. Most of what Jon knows, he has taught himself, proving the age old saying ‘if you put your mind to it, you can do it too’.
Jon now puts both, his experience and knowledge into his online business and specialises in teaching clients, both the basics along with the more detailed side of Facebook advertising.
Visit Jon’s websites today and take a look at what Jon provides his clients and gives away.
Follow Jon Loomer
Jon Loomer can be followed on any of the following social media sites. Be sure to follow him if you want the latest news on what’s hot and what’s not on Facebook.
4) Guy Kawasaki
Every now and then, you come across somebody that is just so motivated, you take a step back and think, wow! And Guy Kawasaki is one of those people. Associated more with positions he has held, his resumé is just endless.
However, tongues started wagging when it was announced he would be involved with the launch of a new website, canva.com. And with its simple drop and drag concept, the website has proved popular with like minded designers and marketers.
If you’re stuck for images, or just starting out, this website is a great place to start. Bonus Link – Meet the team that make Canva possible
Follow Guy Kawasaki
If you’re interested in following Guy Kawasaki and what he has to offer, you can do so through the following social media sites.
5) Chris Farrell
Chris Farrell is the person to go to if you’re just getting started on the Internet. Within his site, you’ll find many step by step video courses, guidance from experts in a huge variety of fields, as well as a very active forum.
Chris’s favourite saying is ‘the money is in the list‘ and if you want to make money, you’ll understand why. If fact, Chris is responsible for many success stories, including Kim Roach. If you ever get the opportunity to ask her what she regrets not doing in her early years, it will be, ‘not building my email list sooner’.
You can take a two week trial on Chris’s site, just to see if it’s for you. That’s exactly what I done and ended up staying for two years.
Follow Chris Farrell
Chris is a big Facebook fan and is often generating conversation by asking a lot of social questions. And while he will promote his business, it’s done subtly.
By following Chris, you’ll also get the opportunity to network with other like-minded people, regardless of their level of expertise.
